1. Who you're buying from
CineGrade byLiam is a DaVinci Resolve PowerGrade package created by Liam Berell. It's sold as a one-time purchase of $47, which includes any applicable sales tax.
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. That means Lemon Squeezy is the seller on your receipt: it takes the payment, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT, issues your invoice, and delivers your download. Payment details go to Lemon Squeezy, not to us. Its own terms also apply to the checkout and payment.
The CineGrade product, content and licence are provided by:
ITSBYLIAM (PTY) LTD, registration number 2026/747301/07 (South Africa). Contact: support@itsbyliam.com.
2. Licence: what you can do
When you buy CineGrade, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it. You aren't buying ownership of the PowerGrade, tutorial, guide or footage; you're buying the right to use them as described here.
Personal and commercial use
You can use CineGrade on footage for your own projects, whether they're personal or commercial. That includes monetised social content, YouTube, films, adverts and brand work. You don't need to credit CineGrade or Liam, though it's always appreciated.
Client work
You can use CineGrade to grade footage for clients, and deliver the finished, rendered work to them. The graded result belongs to you and your client as agreed between you.
If a client needs the DaVinci Resolve project itself, you can hand over a project containing the grade for that specific project. You can't give clients the grade file on its own, or a project set up so the grade can be pulled out and reused elsewhere.
Seats: who can use one licence
One purchase covers one person. You can install CineGrade on all the computers you personally use. If several editors or colourists at a studio or agency will use it, each person needs their own purchase.
Modifying the grade
Adjust, rebuild and adapt the nodes as much as you like. That's how CineGrade is meant to be used. Changes you make are for your own work; the rules on sharing below still apply to modified versions.
3. What you can't do
- Resell, sublicense, rent or bundle CineGrade, or any modified version of it, as a PowerGrade, LUT, preset, template or any other product.
- Convert CineGrade into a LUT or other format to distribute or sell.
- Use the tutorial or guide to create competing training material that reproduces their content.
- Transfer your licence to someone else.
If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must stop using CineGrade and delete your copies.
4. Practice footage
The package includes four practice clips from Liam's own shoots. They're provided so you can learn the grade before working on your own edit.
- You're welcome to use them however you like — practise with them, follow the tutorial, and share what you create, including posting a graded clip publicly.
- Copyright in the original footage stays with its creator.
5. Refunds
If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or the product is faulty or materially different from what we described, email support@itsbyliam.com with your order reference and what happened. We'll look into it and, where appropriate, help fix the problem or arrange a refund through Lemon Squeezy.
We don't offer a discretionary refund because you bought by accident or changed your mind. None of this limits any cancellation, refund or other right the law gives you.
Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method. Once a refund is issued, your licence ends and you must delete your copies.
6. Support
For help with your order, downloads or setup, email support@itsbyliam.com and include the email address you used at checkout.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you bought CineGrade applies to your purchase.
